Motorola XOOM WiFi now available

The Motorola XOOM has finally hit Canadian shelves. It is now available at Best Buy and Futureshop for $599. While it's great to see a high end Android tablet finally making it to market in Canada, the price leaves us scratching our heads a bit.

$599 is a pretty hefty price tag considering devices like the ASUS Eee Pad Transformer, which boasts exactly the same specs and a superior IPS LED back lit screen, for a cool $399 for the 16Gb version and $499 for the 32GB version.

Throw in the $150 keyboard and it makes us wonder how long the XOOM will remain at $599.
