Android Full Tablet UI still alive and kicking on Nexus 7

While we were smitten by the announcement of the Nexus 7, its price tag, its hardware and its software, we have to admit we weren't fans of the phone UI being used on a Tablet. This seemed to us like a step back from strides made in Honeycomb to make Android a full fledged tablet OS. Thanks to the good folks at XDA it seems like the Tablet UI is avaailable through a simple build.prop modification to a 170DPI. It seems like the Tablet UI works perfectly with apps like Google Now and the built in widgets that came with the Nexus 7. Check out the screenshots after the break.
