With 2013 barely a couple of hours old, Sony looks like it's trying to get a head start on the rest of the Android world by outing press images of the Xperia Z and Xperia ZL ahead of this month's Consumer Electronic Show. Both seem to be sporting the same specs; 1.5GHz Quad Core Snapdragon S4 Pro Processors, 2GB of RAM, Adreno 320 GPUs, 13MP Exmor RS cameras and of course 5-inch 1080p displays.
The ZL looks like to be the more compact version of the two despite the identical specs and oddly seems to have its front facing camera on the bottom of the device. We also suspect the "L" in ZL means this is the LTE variant and perhaps might be headed to Canadian soil. We'll only have to wait a few days till CES to find out the dirt on these two flagships.
