Ever since Motorola was acquired by Google, Android fans have been eagerly awaiting for a fully Google influenced Motorola phone. It was well known that at the time of their acquisition, Motorola had approximately 18 months worth of phones in the pipeline and now that we've passed that point rumored had been swirling around a rumored Motorola "X Phone".
While we aren't one to post everything to come out of the rumor mill, we do post about handsets that are leaked from solid sources. This time around the source is as solid as one can get with Motorola CEO confirming himself that the X Phone was in fact real.
According to CEO Dennis Woodside "The phone will be made in the US, it will have an OLED screen" he also went on to say "we know when it's in your pocket, we know when it's in your hand, it's going to know when you want to take a picture and fire up the cameras."
It will be reportedly built in a Texas manufacturing plant used to make Nokia phones at the moment and is set to compete directly with the Galaxy S and iPhones of the world.
We look forward to see what Motorola has up its sleeve.
