Motorola RAZR HD LTE to get Android 4.4 KitKat
In our time with the Motorola RAZR HD LTE, we were pretty satisfied with what Motorola had offered. But it was pretty clear to us that this was a production of the Motorola of old rather than the Google owned Motorola. Fortunately it looks like some of the Google philosophy we saw in the Moto X will be making its way to the 2012 Motorola flagship as Motorola has quietly confirmed that the RAZR HD LTE will officially get an upgrade to Android 4.4 KitKat.
This is, to our knowledge, the first Snapdragon S4 Dual Core device to officially be pegged for an upgrade to the latest version of Android. This means there shouldn't be a reason not to see phones like the HTC One X or Samsung Galaxy S III or the Sony Xperia T or even Motorola's own Atrix HD LTE get updated to Android 4.4 KitKat.
In any case, this is great news for those who decided to pickup the RAZR HD LTE. Hopefully we will see more Snapdragon S4 powered devices get the green light for KitKat.
