Unlocked Motorola Moto G getting Android 4.4.2 KitKat update, carrier versions next

When Motorola renewed their commitment to bringing Android updates in a quicker manner we certainly saw evidence of this when the Moto X was updated to Android 4.4 KitKat on Verizon, one of the most difficult carriers to get update approvals on.

Now Motorola is continuing that momentum by releasing an update to Android 4.4.2 KitKat to the Moto G. The update brings all the improvements that Android 4.4 brings as well as additional improvements to the Moto G.

No word on the TELUS version getting the update but we expect the wait to be short. No word on the TELUS OS update Schedule page.
