Carrier billing for Google Play now available to Bell customers
A couple of months ago, Rogers was the first (of the Big Three at least) to launch carrier billing to Canadians looking to route Google Play purchases to their monthly cell phone bill rather than through a credit card. MobileSyrup is now reporting that carrier billing has made its way to Bell, but with a caveat. According to information they obtained, purchases will be capped at $25/month after the the first purchase made.
This can be a good thing for those who perhaps want to control their App spending habits, although $25 can be a bit small considering some games are reaching the $15 mark. When the $25 limit is reached users will not be allowed to choose carrier billing and have to choose a different payment method. Overall, it's still good to see another option for Canadians roll out.
